Brief

To design a nature-inspired mural for the quiet room and a celebrity timeline mural for the stairway and hallway at Adamscourt Residential Care for Vauxian Care in Bournemouth.

 

The above designs are:

Nature Mural Design: Inspired by nature, this bespoke Nature mural was designed for the quiet room featuring swans floating along a small lake with trees and flowers, a white bridge and a building in the background. The idea is, that when sitting in the armchairs opposite the mural, you are in the countryside looking at nature.

Celebrity Timeline Mural:  Inspired by celebrities of yesteryear from the 1940s to 1970s.  These dates coincide with the resident's age range at the care home. We are told that some residents name the celebrities as they go up and down the stairs.  The idea of this mural is to encourage memories.
