Derby Theatre - UK

In 2019 Neil Irish, Freelance Production Designer on the project for Derby Theatre and Hornchurch Theatre Co Production was sourcing wallpapers for the Richard Bean's smash-hit comedy One Man Two Guvnors. Neil spotted our Cricket Wicket and Cricket Bat and Ball Wallpaper designs from our sports wallpaper collection and our vintage 60s style La Fete Wallpaper. We were asked to re-colour the wallpapers to match the play's room-sets. We also re-scaled the size of each design, large enough for the audience to see the designs from the back of the Theatre whilst watching the play, this was very important.  Each design was carefully made bespoke to fit each room-set to avoid any wallpaper wastage.  We are very proud to be part of this amazing project and working with Neil Irish and the team has been a pleasure.

One Man Two Guvnors is Directed by Sarah Brigham, featuring a side-splitting mix of slapstick comedy, farce and live music by a talented skiffle band. I went to see the play, and it was BRILLIANT! The performance was superb and very funny.  If they decide to do the play again, I highly recommend it. Its a great night out.
