Aberley House- Liverpool
Our Regents Fresh Floral wallpaper looks fantastic in the boudoir bathroom at Aberley House, Liverpool. A lovely finish to a beautiful new bathroom, and I love the marbled wall finish behind and around the bath, it really is something. What a transformation from the original.
I went to see the owners of this beautiful historic house. We discussed a range of wallpaper possibilities for the boudoir bathroom. Its exciting to see the wallpaper finally installed in its setting. My client says “the boudoir room looks amazing” and it certainly does. It’s lovely to be a part of this renovation project.
Aberley House – A Luxury Historic Residence – A Great Place to Stay
Aberley House is part of the famous Beach Lawn terrace which overlooks Liverpool Bay at Waterloo, Liverpool. Number 13 was owned by Sir Thomas Ismay, the founder of the White Star Line. Further down the terrace is the house of Captain Edward Smith, the captain of the Titanic. The terrace was built in 1866 and has strong historical links with the Port of Liverpool. On the beach in front of the house is “Another Place”, known locally as the “iron Men”. This is one of the most iconic Art Installations in the world.
I had the privilege of staying at Aberley House and it’s a wonderful place, I highly recommend it. It’s the perfect getaway for a weekend break. There’s great views and an endless sandy beach that stretches on forever, and best of all the beach is never too crowded. If you love sculpture, then you’ll love Anthony Gormley’s statues installed on Crosby beach. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, and will certainly revisit soon. I guarantee, you won’t be disappointed with your stay. I recommend it!
