In May 2018, The Jones Family Kitchen opened in Belgravia, London — a stylish new bar and restaurant from the team behind the Jones Family Project in Shoreditch. Multi award-winning interior designer Matt Rawlinson of Raw Design approached ATADesigns, drawn to the Kews Leafy Florals wallpaper and fabric design for the project.

The Jones Family Kitchen is part of the Jones Family Project. Originally born in Shoreditch, the Jones Family Project spread its wings with this Belgravia venture at Eccleston Yards. Anticipating the British spring, the restaurant spills out into the courtyard onto a roomy terrace — an oasis from the nearby streets and the perfect setting for fabulous steaks and a list of classic and experimental cocktails.

About the Project

ATADesigns worked closely with Matt Rawlinson (Raw Design) and Paul Hodges of Hillswood Furniture Group, who upholstered the chairs and banquet seating with the Kews Leafy Florals fabric. Sleek Editions did a superb job printing the fabric to a tight deadline. It was also a pleasure to meet Duncan Watts, one of the founders of The Jones Family Kitchen.

The finished result is impressive in every detail. The concept — a modern, stylish industrial bar and restaurant — features unique touches including beautiful eye-catching hexagon floor tiles with a continuous squiggle-style design running from the floor up the bar wall, and a red metal divider with intricate circular patterns. The Kews Leafy Florals design furnishes the walls in parts of the dining area, and continues on fabric beautifully upholstered onto banquet seating, chairs and bar stools.

Quirky wall accessories and carefully selected framed illustration drawings add an almost otherworldly interest to the walls, evoking other times and places. The restaurant is perfectly tucked away in the hidden courtyard of Eccleston Yards.
