Towcester is a town with stories in its walls — and when Clarke & Dean Coffee House asked ATADesigns to design a bespoke mural, we knew exactly where to look for inspiration.
The Brief
When Clarke & Dean came to ATADesigns, they wanted something truly unique — a mural that celebrated the town of Towcester itself. Not a generic design, not an off-the-shelf print, but something that told the story of their place in this historic market town.
The Design
Drawing inspiration from the rich heritage of old Towcester and the iconic Towcester Racecourse, we created a layered, atmospheric composition that brought the town's history to life. Horses and jockeys thunder past historic architecture, Meeting Lane anchors the design with a sense of place, and the whole piece has a warm, vintage quality that feels both timeless and deeply local.
Every element was carefully considered — this wasn't just decoration, it was storytelling through design.
The Installation
The mural was printed to the highest standard by Wallsmiths, and installed with skill and care by Paul Walden Interiors. Seeing the design come off the screen and onto the walls of the coffee house is always a special moment — and this one did not disappoint.
The finished space had real character, warmth and a story to tell every customer who walked through the door.
