Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 did not disappoint. London's most celebrated design festival returned to the streets, studios and showrooms of EC1 for another inspiring edition — and I was lucky enough to steal away for one afternoon to experience it for myself.
Even in just a few hours, the creativity on show was extraordinary. From bold sculptural installations to beautifully crafted furniture, CDW2026 was a wonderful reminder of why Clerkenwell remains the beating heart of the UK design world. There was so much to see — I only wish I'd had longer!

In the time I had, I managed to capture some of the standout pieces that stopped me in my tracks. Watch my highlights video below — featuring the extraordinary Fountain of Technicolour Beads by One Bite Design Studio in collaboration with Leigei Stone, the BinSight Bench by AQG Design, the Kodo Rocking Chair by Vincent Sheppard designed by Studio Segers, and beautiful work by Brad Kennedy Studio and Studio Lenca.
One piece I filmed I couldn't identify — does anyone know who designed it? Drop a comment below — I'd love to find out! 👇
The Official Design Folio of CDW2026 was, as always, a beautifully produced guide to the festival — a collector's item in itself.
Clerkenwell Design Week runs every May. If you haven't been, put it in your diary for 2027. It's unmissable.
