When interior designer Emma Green Design approached ATADesigns for a bespoke wallpaper for a residential bathroom, the brief was bold, playful, and utterly unique — a ski-inspired design that would transform the space into something truly immersive.
The Design
The pattern draws its inspiration from the slopes — bold geometric mountains in layered teal and navy rise across the repeat, interspersed with pairs of skis and ski poles in deep navy, their handles picked out in a striking golden yellow. The result is a design that feels both graphic and dynamic, with a sense of movement and energy that perfectly captures the spirit of the mountains.
The tonal palette — rich teal, deep navy, and warm yellow accents — gives the design a sophisticated edge, avoiding the predictable and instead creating something that feels contemporary, considered, and completely bespoke.
The Installation
The wallpaper was taken high up the walls, creating a dramatic, enveloping effect that makes the space feel bold and immersive. It's a confident design decision that transforms a small bathroom into a real statement room, where the pattern commands attention from every angle.
