Some projects take your work to places you never quite expect. This one took it to New York.
Commissioned by Tartar Art Projects for the Lexington Hotel, New York, this project called for a bold, characterful mural to bring the hotel bar to life. The design was adapted from the ATADesigns “Art Deco with a Modern Twist” Mural Collection — a range inspired by the glamour, geometry and graphic energy of the Art Deco era.
Featuring elegantly dressed figures, bold diagonal lines, rich colour and geometric form, the mural transforms the bar space into something truly memorable — a design that feels both timeless and completely at home in one of New York’s iconic hotels.
The mural was carefully adapted to fit the proportions and character of the space, ensuring the design worked in harmony with the existing interior.
