Hengrove Lodge Care Home in Bristol has a lounge like no other. Working with AbleCare, ATADesigns created a bespoke Japanese-inspired mural that now wraps the lounge walls in a serene landscape of trees, flowers, birds and water.
Soft sage greens, blush pinks and warm stone tones bring the outside world in, creating a sense of peace and tranquillity that is so important in a care environment.

The mural spans two walls, framing the room's central window and flooding the space with natural light. Every detail — from the delicate cherry blossom branches to the blue birds in flight and the distant pagoda — has been carefully considered to evoke a sense of gentle wonder and quiet joy.
