Founder Annette Taylor-Anderson graduated from The University of East London (UEL) in 2005, where she studied Textile Design and Surface Decoration, and with considerable interest in her work ATADesigns was born.

In 2006 her first collection of contemporary interior wall hangings was showcased at New Designers “One Year On” where she was among 50 fresh new design talents from various design discipline backgrounds selected by a panel including Design Author, Journalist and Curator, Max Fraser. She was also selected to showcase her work at 100% East, “Talent Zone”, at the Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, during the Design Festival.

Since setting-up ATADesigns, Annette has developed her designs into Wallpaper, Ceramic Wall Tiles, Lampshades, Fabrics and Cushions, and has showcased them at various trade exhibitions in London and Overseas, such as Pulse, London, Maison et Objet, Paris, and ICFF, New York, and her work has grown, and is continually growing from strength to strength. Her work has appeared in both UK and International magazines, and now has strong interest from the corporate and retail markets.

As Creative Director; Annette’s main focus is on producing designs for the interior and exterior markets, and she has a great interest in working on collaborative projects with other designers.

With a constant flow of ideas and energy, Annette’s inspiration is drawn from everyday surroundings observed from the diversity in culture, music, and fashion. Her unique designs are abstract, sometimes linear, futuristic, or funky, and can be seen as a bridge between fine art and textiles. Annette is always in search of new ideas, bringing fresh concepts into each design, making them unique, and can be adapted according to taste and colour way. One of her most popular design is the “Cranes” wallpaper (from the construction series), and this can be seen at the Goat in Boots pub in Chelsea.
